TXConnect Virtual Education Series
The inaugural TXConnect Membership Summit one day virtual conference held in August 2020 continued with a new, ongoing TXConnect Virtual Educational Series providing continued education to registered attendees and new registrants looking to participate.

Whether developing stronger relationships with anchor institutions, exploring mergers and acquisitions or contemplating partnerships with electric cooperatives, three revered panelists shared unique insights from their different strategies and goals to increase their revenues, expand their brand and mitigate competition in commonly served areas.
Participants learned about the motivations, challenges, culture shifts and rewards experienced when contemplating or entering a partnership or acquisition to grow and diversify a business.
Attendees took away ideas for revenue opportunities, lessons on challenges faced with different types of partnership arrangements, internal business considerations to accommodate new partnership activities and potential outcomes of successful collaborations.
Lessons Learned from COVID

A candid talk with leaders from three TTA member companies on lessons learned from the pandemic; from the initial response actions to the long-term outlook of activities yet to come.
Attendees gained an understanding of how similarly situated companies modified operations, corporate policies and public relations activities throughout the last year, things that surprised them, and what they are working on now to ensure their best practices will carry them through what’s on the horizon.
Branding Beyond Your Logo

While many of us think of our company’s brand as the logos and colors stitched onto our golf shirt, to customers the brand goes much deeper than that. During this informative and interactive session, we looked at your customer’s journey and saw how your brand can either be represented well or poorly at each step.
Through an interactive game ripped off from the Ellen Show, a completely made-up broadband provider and complicated MBA words like “servicescape,” this session gave attendees ideas for how to take a holistic approach to establishing their brands.
Gain a deeper understanding of how interactions at every point in the customer’s journey shape the customer’s perception of the entire company’s brand.
